About Med

Built across disciplines. Accountable to outcomes.

Marketing leadership informed by agency experience, financial services, technology, media, and a long-standing interest in human behavior.

The path here

Built across disciplines. Accountable to outcomes.

I started with a degree in sociology at Arizona State University, fascinated by why people make the decisions they make. That interest became the foundation of a career in marketing, where understanding behavior matters as much as understanding the tools used to reach people.

My early career was on the agency side, working across Publicis/Razorfish, iMarketing, and WPP environments. Agency life taught me how to connect creative thinking, media, technology, and execution, and how to do it under real deadlines. I later moved client-side after being recruited by Barclaycard. That transition changed the questions I was responsible for answering. Delivering campaigns was no longer enough. I had to account for acquisition economics, customer experience, operational constraints, and the business outcomes that followed.

From there, my work crossed healthcare at Healthgrades, mortgage lending, alternative investments, and retail brokerage. Each industry brought different customers, rules, risks, and economics. The constant has been the discipline of connecting strategy to execution while understanding the systems around both.

I returned to Arizona State University to study Digital Audiences, bringing contemporary digital-media research into the same practice I have been building for more than two decades.

How I think

Protect the productive struggle. Cut the performative friction.

Not every difficult step is a problem to eliminate. Some friction develops judgment, protects customers, or forces a decision to withstand scrutiny. The work is knowing which kind you're looking at.

Compliance review, underwriting thresholds, and controls in regulated markets can be necessary safeguards. The market's overnight pause, for example, can give participants time to absorb information rather than forcing every development into an immediate trading decision. As I argued in Benzinga, removing that pause changes how risk is experienced, not just when trading is available.

Performative friction is different. It's the extra approval, redundant handoff, or needless complexity that slows work without improving the outcome. I want systems that remove those obstacles while preserving the challenge that builds sound decisions.

That distinction shapes how I approach AI, customer acquisition, product design, leadership, and growth. Technology can accelerate execution. It cannot substitute for knowing what deserves to be accelerated.

Beyond the résumé

Long Island roots. A wider perspective.

I grew up on Long Island and went west to Arizona State University. The friendships I made there, including through Phi Kappa Psi, have lasted well beyond college, with an annual ski trip still bringing us together.

Being a father is a defining part of my life. It keeps the distinction between activity and what actually matters especially clear. The point of building better systems, at work and beyond it, is to make room for more meaningful decisions and more time with the people who matter.

The next chapter

Ready for consequential work.

I'm interested in senior marketing leadership opportunities where strategic thinking, commercial accountability, and operational execution belong in the same conversation.
